History of computers
My chosen topic has a lot to do with computer history because it is about computers history. Let's take it back 200 years ago when computers were being used by mathematicians and enterpreneurs as a calculating machine. This mchine was built by Charles Babbage in 1822. How did they even come put with the name computer?. The name was first used in 1613 in a book by Richard Braithwait.
In 1890 Herman Holleith created a machine that stores and records information through a punch card kind of machine. He later created IBM which is a well known computer company.
Programmable computers
A german named Konrad use created a Z1 computer machine that was used in a electromechanical way in 1936. He later made a Z3 computer that was fully functionally auntmatically.
A modern computer as we used today was discoverd by Alan Turing in 1936 at the time it was called, "The Turing Machine". This device printed symbols on paper tape.
I am going to speed the time up and take it to 1975 when Ed Roberts created the first PC (personal computer). This was this was or inputting and output data just by turning on and off a light.
We do know that IBM was one of the first computer companies in history, so in 1975 the first portable computer names IBM 5100 was released.
My topic is all about how the idea of computers were invented and was used way before we were using it with browsing the internet and using social media.
